It has been a while since the last update. I followed the advise of many and stayed somewhat quiet with respect to social networking, apart from a few updates on Twitter and Facebook.
My sick leave has almost come to an end. How do I feel by now?
Thankfully there are signs of improvement. Yet it all went much slower than I initially expected. In consultation with my ward-elders, a deicsion has been made that I will try to do some work again by the beginning of next week, starting with teaching one catechism class and some visiting within the congregation.
By Mid- March, the Lord willing, I hope to start preaching again. If it all goes well, hopefully by the beginning April I might take up my full task again, be it a reduced workload. This all depends how things will go during the coming month.
Looking back upon the past three months, I praise the LORD for providing for me each day, despite my impatience at times. My wife and I could enjoy a wonderful fortnight of rest in Busselton, which did both of us a lot of good. I'm thankful that I can look forward to doing at least some work again. Meanwhile we continue to pray that the LORD will restore complete health.
Taking up my task, I also hope to write a few new post on this blog, sharing with you some of the material, which I was privileged to present at the National Youth Convention 2012 at the beginning of this year.
